Kaliammal College of Education envisions itself as a leading institution that shapes the character, competence, and commitment of teacher educators in Tamil Nadu. To produce socially responsible, devoted, and dedicated teachers of high moral character and ethical standards. Our mission is to prepare educators who will inspire the future citizens of this nation to become principled and compassionate human beings.

The mission of Kaliammal College of Education is to provide structured, comprehensive, and value-based teacher education that equips student-teachers with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and reflective competencies required to excel in diverse educational settings. The college is committed to fulfilling the national objectives of quality teacher preparation as mandated by NCTE and the affiliating university, TNTEU.

To provide quality teacher education in strict alignment with the norms, standards, and regulations set by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University (TNTEU).
To develop student-teachers’ academic competence, subject mastery, pedagogical skills, and capacity for reflective and critical thinking in real classroom contexts.
To promote research, innovation, and the effective integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into teaching and learning practices.
To instil values of integrity, social responsibility, professional ethics, and a genuine commitment to inclusive and equitable education.
To build practical teaching competencies through well-structured school internship programmes, collaborative lesson planning, and constructive supervision and feedback.
