Examination

Internal Examination

Kaliammal College of Education conducts internal examinations as an integral component of its continuous and comprehensive assessment system for both B.Ed. and M.Ed. programmes. Internal assessments are designed in accordance with the guidelines and regulations prescribed by the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University (TNTEU), ensuring rigorous and fair evaluation of student-teachers throughout the academic year.

The internal examination system evaluates student performance across multiple dimensions including written tests, assignments, seminars, practical activities, and participation in academic programmes. These assessments contribute to the overall continuous internal assessment (CIA) marks that are submitted to the university.

  • Two CIA examinations per semester as per TNTEU norms
  • Assignments, seminars, and practical record submission
  • Attendance requirements as per university regulations
  • Internal marks forwarded to TNTEU before university exams
  • Transparent and fair internal assessment procedures
