Campus & Facilities
Science / Methods Laboratory
The Science and Methods Laboratory at Kaliammal College of Education is a multifunctional facility that supports the practical training of student-teachers in both science demonstration and subject-specific teaching methodology. The lab enables student-teachers to develop competency in the hands-on teaching of physical science, biological science, and mathematics through experiment-based instruction.
In alignment with TNTEU curriculum requirements and NCTE practical norms, the laboratory provides the resources needed for subject method practicals, lesson demonstrations, and the development of science teaching aids for use in secondary and higher secondary classrooms.
- Physical science apparatus and experiment kits
- Biological science models and specimens
- Mathematics manipulatives and geometric models
- Subject method teaching aids and demonstration equipment
- Activity-based learning resources for all science subjects
Subject Methods
