About the Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees of Tmt. Kaliammal Palaniappan Educational & Charitable Trust is the apex governing body responsible for the overall direction, administration, and institutional welfare of Kaliammal College of Education. The Trust was founded in the year 2000 A.D. with a deep commitment to rendering meaningful educational and charitable service to the people of Tamil Nadu.
The Board provides strategic oversight for the college, ensuring that its operations remain aligned with the norms and standards prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi, and the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University (TNTEU), Chennai. The Trustees are collectively responsible for policy decisions, resource mobilisation, institutional development, and the long-term academic vision of the college.

Shri. Aasee S Muthusamy serves as the Chairman and Correspondent of Kaliammal College of Education, Karur. As Chairman, he provides the apex institutional leadership to the college, setting the strategic direction for academic growth, governance, and community engagement on behalf of the Board of Trustees.
In his dual role as Correspondent, Shri. Muthusamy serves as the principal institutional representative in all official dealings with the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University (TNTEU) and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), ensuring full regulatory compliance and the smooth functioning of all institutional processes.
Under his leadership, Kaliammal College of Education continues to uphold its founding commitment to making quality teacher education accessible to deserving students from Karur and the surrounding districts, producing competent and values-driven teachers for the nation’s schools.
